20 years of solid entrepreneur experience. Dr. Bush has taught his real estate agents applied psychology with much success. In addition, Dr. Bush has used his knowledge to teach his students the value of psychology as it pertains to business.
IQ & EQ
Dr. Bush can think and skillfully solve problems through tactful learning and reasoning. He has concurrent knowledge in the business and psychological field. In addition, he can deal with his and others emotion in healthy and constructive ways. He has the ability to read, assess, and interpret emotions.
Dr. Bush has the ability to see the larger picture in life, business, and relationships. He is able to compartmentalize details while thinking outside the box. He does not like “status quo” business and is always looking to invent or recreate ideas. He is open and conscious to his environment as he focuses on the company’s vision.
Dr. Bush has spent many years researching. In his dissertation he explores the internal motivation of an individuals calling as it related to academic satisfaction. Currently, he is trying to explore the phenomenon of "letting go". To participate in the study click the link below.
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
I met Dr. Bush during my time at ECPI University. I am a former student who had the opportunity to learn from him. As a professor, he not only challenged us academically, but he challenged us personally. His passion for educating students, as well as his passion for continuing his own academic journey, is inspiring and makes him an exceptional educator.
Dr. Bush has been one of the most encouraging and supportive instructor I have had. To this day, he continues to challenge me and offer support in helping me achieve my career goals. Dr. Bush has a way of making his students thrive past anything they thought imaginable. The class I had with him was a careers-focused class. Every person in the room was in a very different place with our lives. Somehow, he managed to meet each of us where we were. He took the time to help each of us develop a path for ourselves; making sure we had a clear vision of what our personal goals were, and then guiding us to map out how to accomplish our goals....
I have known Dr. Bush for over 20 years. I have worked for him as an agent at Watermark Realty Services, Inc. Dr. Bush is a dedicated professional who cares for those who work for him. He treats everyone with respect, and I learned a great deal from him about the industry. He is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market and business protocol. He is detail oriented and operates a smooth business. He is quick to respond to questions and concerns. I consider Dr. Bush as both a friend and a mentor. If given the opportunity, I would eagerly work for him again.
I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Darren Bush for two years at ECPI University. We worked most closely together on several projects and initiatives together while I was in my role as student services coordinator.
Dr. Bush is an educator beloved by his students and colleagues. This is due to the time and effort he takes to make deep connections and get to know what motivates each individual he interacts with. I’ve watched him help students take business ideas and turn them into a flourishing student clubs – giving them agency and real-world experiences that they will take with them into their future careers. He is quick to step in and assist, especially with first-year colleges students and nontraditional students. The challenges he is willing to help a student tackle prove his dedication to his craft.
